DENVER — January 21, 2006 — Scott Bideau, President of Cephas Innovation, has been appointed to the Board of Advisors of the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs. As a member of the advisory board, Bideau will review the CTE program and advise district administration on improving the program, including the preparation of an annual report to the Board of Education presenting observations, findings, and recommendations.
Bideau has been active in numerous child education programs for over ten years and was recently featured as a guest columnist in the Denver Business Journal, in which Bideau encouraged companies and individuals to seek out more hands-on, service oriented charitable involvement. The management and information technology consulting firm that Bideau founded, Cephas Innovation, has always held child-related organizations as the firm’s top charitable priority, recently completing an online job board service for the Alliance of Community Educators, Kansas City, to help connect urban metro-area youth with employment and internship opportunities.
